Plates cut and image weak

Hi recently we switch to fuji lhnn2 plates but we having problems with plate cut in machine around 50k impressions, image weak on heat set units around 4k copies, for cold set no image weak issue except plate cut. Can u pl guide us to fix on web offset newspaper.

Did you calibrate and do focus and exposure test when you set up?

If thats a grained plate, make sure your not cross grain this would account for plate cracking.

Regarding the plate cracking (cut), is it possible that these new plates are a bit longer in the around cylinder direction and that this results in a bit of slack? This would cause flexing of the plate, leading to the cracking. The slack could be very minor or none on the cold units, but greater on the heat set units due to expansion.

What if you try tightening the plates on those units more after 1k impressions?
