3 years minimum print experience required
We are looking for a meticulous person with a minimum three years of pre-press experience in a multi-spot, 4 color process CTP environment. Candidate must possess good work ethic and be able to communicate and work in a team setting. We are a busy production facility with presses ranging from 2 color to 5 Color (28") feeding multiple locations. Benefits Included.
Job duties include:
Working with Rampage and Preps in a CTP environment
Manage incoming and repeat jobs
Preflight / troubleshoot incoming files
Proofreading and Quality control
Communicate with customer service or clients to overcome issues found in preflight
Manage all digital assets of the art department
Maintain prepress equipment
Output files to poly plate
Scan camera ready artwork
Job tracking/logging
Programs used (in order of importance)
Rampage
Preps
Adobe CS3 Suite (InDesign_Illustrator_Photoshop_Acrobat)
Pitstop
Quark
Various Non-Standard Software (word_publisher_etc..)
Oris Color Tuner
Operating Systems
Mac OSX (10.4)
Windows XP
