print a PS file in OsX

Hello there!
Is it still possible to print a PS file in OsX? Like the old days??
I need to write a PS file from Acrobat - to test one feature - but I'm not able to...
It's been a long time since my last *.PS file ...

Choose Print from the File menu. There should be a dropdown menu as shown below and one of the options in the menu is 'Save as Postscript'.

You can export Postscript from Acrobat

because I need a particular feature available only when printing from Acrobat - Apply output preview settings - because I'm still trying to do THIS.
