Print sequence

I know this is not a commercial question, but maybe you can help me understand.

If, for example, I have a 24 page booklet. I don't have a duplex unit. What is the print sequence that will allow me to print one side then turn the stack over to print the other side?

Will I have to re-stack the print?

After much trial and error this is the sequence I arrived at:
1,22,5,18,9,14,11,16,7, 20,3, 24

2,21,6,17,10,13,12,15,8,19,4,23

I think this works, but I have no idea how I arrived at this, there has to be some sort of formula.

Can you help?

Re: Print sequence

take six sheets of paper and fold them in half to make a book.Flip through your book and number the pages.Unfold the book and take it apart.
side 1= 1,24 3,22 5,20 7,18 9,16 11,14

side 2= 2,23 4,21 6,19 8,17 10,15 12,13

Re: Print sequence

If you are only printing single pages. Then all you have to do is print the Odd Pages first, then print the even pages. Nothing more to do as long as you are printing single pages.
