Printing and inserting 8.5x11 inch sheets...

Does anyone know if it is possible on any of Xerox's finishers to print an 11x17 inch sheet of paper, fold it in half and then insert multiple sheets of 8.5x11 paper inside of that 11x17 sheet?

We have several jobs we regularly do that require this and generally we just have it collate the internal pages and then we manually go back and stuff them into the covers.

Hi I don't think there are any in-line finishing options that can do such operation for any machine. We had a similar order - a 6 page newsletter and handled it exactly the same you do. This is somewhat uncommon operation and too little of a fish to catch for industry's giants as a descent amount of units would need to be sold to compensate RD and production set-up. There is a slim chance for offline finishing like some mail incerter machine, if it could handle a 8.5x11 size envelope, may be it would not care that "envelope" isn't glued on the sides...

Thanks for the the reply. I don't mind having to do it as long as everyone else is doing it too. lol I am actually kind of glad because that means that it isn't as easy for the client to do it in-house or take it to a copy center.
