Printing on vinyl sheets with thermal transfer

Does anyone know a printer that you can print on sheets 11 x 13 with thermal transfer? We print wiring diagrams and would like to print them on demand.

I should have included it has to be weather resistant. We have tried inkjet but the ink won't last outdoors.

What is your budget? Maybe look at a latex printer from HP?

There are weather proof inkjet printers look at the latex ones from hp or mimaki or efi and mimaki have uv cured inks. These are not something you would keep on your desk and only use occasionally though. How much printing are you planning on doing?

If it has to be thermal transfer you look at summa dc4sx or dc5sx. The durability of this prints is unbeaten by any inkjet.. we use it for the hardest jobs.. you can allso get a cheap used gerber edge.. but allso a hp latex would do it..

use Roland printer instead of thermal printer. latest technology gives ease to life, use HP DesignJet T-530 vinyl banner printing. Produces high quality images / banners. From me it's 100% recommended.

Another option is to use any A4 Xerographic printer and print on waterproof paper. It's effectively melting plastic into the paper.
