ESKO
to RIPIT
to Epson 4800
(Before we go there we HAD the 4800 attached to the Ripit so the bean counters didn't want to spring for the ESKO /E driver)
I am sending a file that has a background going from a dark brown to a rich black. The file take the appropriate profile and gets to the RIP and RIPs into what I am expecting. I release the file to the Epson and about 2/3 way up the background the printer decides to just print black. This leaves an ugly band that doesn't match the rest of the background.
I was thinking that it was something in the driver as the ripped image looks correct. I have gone through the RIP settings, the printer driver, and the printer itself but nothing seems to effect that part.
Any thoughts on where I should start looking?
