Problems Apogee PDF RIP v1 or v2 on Win2000

PDF RIP Server re-installation

PDF RIP Server re-installation

Right click my computer and select manage. Got to the event log, system, and find the actual error listing the particular service that failed to load. That will be a clue.

The situation is different now. We have uninstalled PDF RIP V2 and re-installed it again. This time, with an additional IDE harddrive (we installed Win2000 server on 320GB SATA harddisk). We did not encounter the error message during installation. But on restart, PDF RIP server is not starting. We checked the event log and below are the description:

The AGFA PAC Driver timed-out sending the APIS message.

Our MOBO is having 2 PCI slot, one is empty and have installed the APIS card on the other. The messages are kind of too technical for us to troubleshoot and any feedback is really appreciated.
