Hi
I am looking at offering remote production support, and training.
Operating clients machines remotely as well as on site.
Ever farmed out overflow production work to a freelance operator?

Thanks

Remote working "inside" a network can be challenging. Remotely operating a machine through various web services is a lot more difficult than is practical. You're better off handling everything locally and sending remotely. Some tools work well over a WAN/VPN connection. Can it be done? Sure. Can it work? Sure, if done correctly.

Thanks for your prompt response!
Currently using Teamview after trying Logmein and a coupleof others. I like the fact that no software is stored on the clients machines and works fine either pc or mac.
My underlying question is: Is anyone doing this or using this kind of service, and if not what is the biggest obsticle?
Here in NZ it's a slow start to the year. I know a number printers that have a production facility and have fluctuating work loads - not enough / to much, so an extra pair of clever hands to use when needed makes sense.
