Remote Prepress Support – File Preparation for Printing (Die-Cut, Foiling, Digital & Offset)

I’m looking for opportunities to work remotely with printing companies that need support preparing files for production.


I have extensive experience in prepress, including:

• Setting up files for digital and offset printing
• Creating die-cut lines, foiling areas, embossing setups
• Preparing files for sticker and label production
• File corrections (bleeds, color adjustments, resizing, etc.) to make them fully print-ready

Over the past few years, I’ve supported both small and large presses in handling their daily client orders efficiently. I understand the challenges of tight deadlines and complex artwork, and I always focus on accuracy, speed, and cost-effective solutions.

I see a lot of posts in various forums for pre-press, designers, installers, etc. You would stand out from the crowd with a website that includes a work portfolio, software you are proficient with, and testimonials. It would also be good to state what country and timezone you are in.

Thanks a lot for the feedback — that makes sense. I’ll work on putting together a simple website with portfolio samples, the software I use daily, and some client testimonials to show credibility. I’m based in Sri Lanka (GMT+5:30), which actually works well for U.S. clients since their evening overlaps with my daytime, so I can prep files overnight and have them ready by their morning.


I really appreciate the advice — this gives me a clear next step to make my offering stronger. I’m not fully sure about the forum policy here regarding sharing websites, so I’ll check before posting a link.
