Hello, i have a xerox versant 180 and i wanna to change it , i’m between ricoh pro c5300s and konica c3070 , the most of my print are brochure, cards, flyer . Wich one you think is best with less maintenance and coast of print
Thank you for your help

Just so you know, the KM C3070 was superceded by the C4070 in late 2020
The Ricoh model you've listed appears to be current, from a quick Google

I have 2 5300s (65 ppm). I only use them for one monthly job that's about 200k impressions all done in a week. I had 2 5110s(85ppm) before hand that were work horses, one of them almost reached 10 million clicks. So far I am really underwhelmed with the 5300 with how much it goes down. I have great Techs so I do not think the service is the problem. In all fairness I do run the crap out of it all at once in a month all 20# bond letter. *Both of these machines were gifted to us by the service company and were used*

You would be better off going with a used Ricoh 7200, ask your salesman about the greenline machines.

I have both the konica and the versant 280. For sure the Konica. I am paying nearly the same for both machines. uggg

Ask your salesman if you can get trained for the TCRU program for Ricoh, they will teach you how to work on most of the common parts of the machine, at least here in the USA they will.

Greenline is Ricoh's refurbished printers.

I’m from morocco i will ask thank you

Go with a machine that you can get professional service and OEM parts for. If you're limited to techs who can work on Konica or Xerox for examples...then stick with those brands. @Shawnd 's advice to get trained on the TCRU is good, but there will still be issues/parts that you won't be able to fix/find yourself. Your business will suffer if your machine is down for long periods as you try to repair it yourself.

With the Ricoh TCRU program they supply the parts, they "should" stockpile on your location the parts for you to swap out with. They would inturn come out to rebuild the rebuildable parts to keep your supply going. The parts like the charge rollers would just get new ones that they would keep a supply of onsite.

This does not replace the tech, it merely allows you, the site operator, to keep the machine going without having to put in a service call on most issues (not major).

As noted this is how it works in the USA, can't speak for other countries.

You would still need to investigate how the vendors service is in YOUR area, any box can print but the Service is what keeps you going. I don't think there are many people from Morocco on here.

Thank you for your advices
I found a used ricoh c7200 with 2 millions impression in other country, what are the things to check? Thank you for your help

What I was referring to was you buying a refurbished machine from Ricoh and they service it (when needed) and you pay click charges.

I would not recommend buying a used 7200 if you are doing pay for print, way to many things to list that could go wrong.
