On the other hand, since you don't appear to have a choice, you should take into account how far away your annual review is and whether this woman would have any input on it when deciding how delighted you're going to pretend to be to go. You don't want the "bad attitude" box checked.

Yeah but imagine that day when you really need to take off, dont have any sick time left
but can do so and still get paid for it because youre on salary!
