Scanning Issue

Hi,

Recently When we have scanned on our Versant 80 a line appears through the completed image (PDF, JPEG OR TIFF). It's best described as what looks like an embossed or indent (depending on how you want to look at it and how it appears on a scan). I've attached a PDF. It appears in the same location on every scan, colour or b/w no matter the DPI. We only usually use the scanner for colour and images.

we get away with it by adjusting the size of the paper to be scanned and placing said paper on the scanner glass just below where the mark is 'appearing'.

Any suggestions on a fix? Or is this a tech phone call??

How about that. Didn't even know that the V80 had a scanner option. Yeah, it looks like a tech call to me.

I would call service as well, probably something simple needs to be cleaned.

It looks like the actual scanner where the white light comes from might have a particle of dust or paper. Yes, call for service!
