scitex smart 340 scanner problem please help :(

Hi i have a scitex smart 340 scanner and it has got a error coming up as EPRom Error
Check v5 power supply.

After looking in the manual and following that, which gets you to look see if the 5v leds are on, (Which they are) it has no more help

can anyone else throw some light on this please

I don't have an answer for you. You've gotten further than I would have because you apparently have a manual that talks about power supply ststus LED indications. All I have for my 342L is the user manual.

I'm sorry to be a vulture, but if you decide that your 340 is no longer useable, I would love to buy some parts from it, particularly the scanning lamps and a few other things.
