We had the sad misfortune to get involved with Xerox many moons ago, we had a 6060 which has left us now, long story re: that but thankfully we're almost clear of Xerox.
We have a Docucolor 250, we tried to settle the contract last year and got told we would have to pay the rest of the 3yrs click charges (which was about 60k) so we disdn't go for it.
Anyways , the machines been sat there, we can't use it because the registration is so bad front to back, and we're trying to settle the contract again.
I've been told that legally we should only be liable (in the UK) for upto 3months of predicted click charges, we owe £5K to settle the machine, but Xerox are trying to hold us to £22,000 worth of unused clicks, is this legal, if not can anyone advise what legislation we need to quote.
Here's hoping!
