Software for evaluating spot colors

We're looking for software that will allow us to sample spot color matching (really any spectral reference if possible). We need to evaluate individual samples both on press and after, and ideally track over time. We also want to create shareable reports in both instances.

Does anybody have recommendations? SpotOn Flexo seems like it will do what we want but is probably a little overkill. And it's also really pricey.

I have used both of these products and I found the xrite color master the most user friendly (even though they spell Colour incorrectly). Used it to download and track around 2000 special colours for packaging.

Colour is only spelt incorrectly to americans

Not what you're looking for but i use Barbieri gateway. It just wont give you a report and only works with their devices. but good for simply checking spot colours even over time.
You could actually write up your own excel document to do what you're asking.
