Spray Powder GTO 52

Our Spray Powder is not coming on at all. Think maybe we burned the motor up? Anybody have any suggestions?

Does the blower come on when your press goes on impression? Do you hear the solenoid pulsing at every revolution? In the sprayer electrical box, there is a thermal overload and a motor contactor. You (or if you are not electrically inclined - a competent electrician) should check for the required voltage in the above mentioned electrical box. C14 in the press electrical cabinet should also be part of the circuit. Good Luck Steve

more than likely you just lost the yellow belt on the blower connection. take the cover off of the blower/motor combo. its grey with one screw in the middle. look at the belt if its off replace it. increase the tension. 2 holes in fly wheel lead to 2 screws on motor. buy 2 spares remember yellow side to the flywheel.

Yes I need to check this also doesn't seem like it's contacting well. Worried we might have burned it up because the yellow belt was knarled.

We weren't getting offset because we were running matte with the dryer on, but coated paper is coming up.

Thanks Steve.

I dont recomend it but you can lock the powder solenoid in the on position with a little effort. continuous powder in a pinch it would get you going
