HIFLEX Corp. seeks Sr. Product Application Specialist in Ashland, NY. A Sr. Product Application Specialist must be able to handle a large variety of responsibilities including project management, IT, and other duties relating to the printing industry. Responsibilities will include prospective customer demonstrations, implementation & project management, system configuration, customer training, customer support, and sales support. Specific job duties include the following: Identifying, tracking managing and resolving project issues; proactively disseminating project information to all stakeholders; identifying, managing and mitigating project risk; ensuring that the solution is of acceptable quality; proactively managing scope to ensure that only what was agreed to is delivered, unless changes are approved through scope management; defining and collecting metrics to give a sense for how the project is progressing and whether the deliverables produced are acceptable; and managing the overall schedule to ensure work is assigned and completed on time and within budget.
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Communications, Print Media, MIS, or a related field, plus three years of experience. Must have experience in the following: Print Estimating, Print Production, MIS/ERP Implementation, Prepress Systems, Print Costing, Print Business Analysis, Finance Knowledge of Book MFG & Binding Methods (notable asset/benefit), Desktop applications, Servers, Local area Networks, Wide area Networks, Scripting, and Prepress applications. Must have superb written and oral communication skills. Must be willing to travel. Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and MS Word. Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
