Suprasetter Subscription

Do I have to update my software subscription every year in order to make plates on my Heidelberg Suprasetter? We updated last year and now the salesman is telling me that it will not make plates unless I update the subscription, it is very costly and if it is not needed I would like to skip a year or two.

Only really necessary if you've opted to trade in your dongle and now are on pay as you use option. If your license server (physical) dongle is still part of your system you should be OK
