Tariffs - Have they, or, will they impact your business?

Xerox makes EA toner at a 150,000 sf facility located in Rochester New York, United States
I kindof hope that’s not true or not the full picture. They’re gonna have to be extremely transparent with exactly what charges they are passing along. Charging a tariff surcharge on already installed software (which is absurd) or toner that is made in the USA? If this is just a money grab by Xerox that’s going to not pay out well.

I get what you’re saying and there’s no way to know for sure if an actual tariff caused the price increase or corporate greed. In the case of Xerox AE toner, it may be manufactured in the United States but I have no idea where all the raw materials come from. Cobalt black comes to mind; you can’t make toner or ink without it. Having broad global tariffs being applied to just about every country in the world, it’s hard to believe that prices won’t go up on just about everything in our business and life.

To my knowledge software would not fall under the new tariffs but that’s just the software side. The infrastructure that’s necessary to create the software will be directly affected by the tariffs. How this would affect the cost of your already installed software this quickly seems to be a stretch by Xerox or any other company increasing costs. Makes no difference, in the end we small peons pay more just like during and after COVID.
