Don't forget defective drums. I've even received a few empty toners that were supposed to be brand new.

Necessity is the mother of invention. I've vacuumed, cleaned and washed out a few toner waste cartridges in my time because we couldn't get any. Cleaned coronas with Q-tips dipped in rubbing alcohol, etc. All worked fine.
