We had that discussion. There was no line item in the budget for support or training.
Besides the workflow is basically the same as you had - just different. (See SheetSqueezer comment.)

More like a blowfly. Buzzes around, makes a lot of noise, is annoying, and the only thing it really does is land on your desk and poop on it before flying away to the next guy.
