This is probably an odd question - Packaging & Color Management

Hi - First of all, thank you for taking the time to read my post and for putting thought into understanding or answering my question below.

I am currently working on a r&d project and would like to know if there are a set of images, similar to the famous Lenna image, that are used when characterizing packaging artwork files?

For those that might be unfamiliar to the Lenna image, its an image that is used to illustrate or characterize image processing algorithms (I think).

Lenna - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thank you in advance!

The Lenna scan was in interesting breach of copyright, I much prefer the original than the crop :)

Different vendors have freely available output test forms that contain images, I am not sure of the copyright aspect of extracting an image from the test form.

I am not aware of any specific packaging test images, although I am sure that Esko or other packaging or proofing software vendors that address the packaging and graphic communications industries needs would be a good place to start to look for test form downloads.

A set of commercial test images specifically produced for print colour/reproduction tests can be found at the BVDM Roman16 site:
