Traps in Proofs

As I am finding out, most flexo shops only send a PDF proof for approval.
In the offset world, nearly every job had a physical proof made. And these proofs would also show traps.

The question is, whether you are using Esko or PACKZ, do you show traps on your PDF proofs?

Hello MacTwidget,

We run flexo and sheet fed. We've just started sending PDF proofs that include trap and overprint (as it involves less steps for us) but it opens up the door to a world of pain.

Here is a fairly recent post that touches on these issues.

It all depends on how many customers you have and their level of IT skill.
