I have a new installed windows 2008 server with trueflow 7.20
when I try to create a new job, i have to select an imposition with it, but then i receive a error

JMF Command Type:null
Job ID:hj150303-00002
Code:10504
Error Message:ERR_IMPMGR_LAYOUTCREATERFORJOB:LayoutCreatorException:java.lang.NumberFormatException
Locked User:null
Host:null

I checked the location of the folders, but everything seems to be fine, rest of Trueflow is working fine.

Have you tried renaming the file to test? We had one that drove us nuts. We found it was a word we should not have been using - like page or something.

Tried different names, tried to make a tpl of the file, but not of it worked.
Also tried a different java version, because i recently updated the java version.
this doesn't work also

Hi Syblade,
did you install Trueflow by yourself? I am not sure but I think that officially TF does not support 2008 server. That aside, which patches you have installed and what about the language version and settings of the server?
Also does any job go through?

Johu,
Installed the server myself, but the specs of trueflow 7.20 are;

Running Trueflow 7.20 with WP patches for Windows server 2008 standard
Only thing is that I installed the dutch language instead of UK, could this be it?

Hi Syblade,
that could definitely be it. Because of Java, the region settings should be US. That is because at least Finnish settings will swap , and . which makes the Java go bananas.
So please first try setting regional settings to US, I would even change keyboard settings in the first place. Then if it starts working you could try Dutch settings, but only for keyboard.

Other thing that might prevent things to work properly is hostname.

If you go to your default trueflow drive (usually D-drive) search for a piece of software called hostname setup or something very similar. Run that. It will make sure that your system knows where all the necessary files and folders are. Trueflow is internally referring to itself by hostname. If that setting is not correct you will end up with non functioning system.

Try those two and let me know.
