Trying to fix rogue Sentinel ink system putting down ink while press is stopped

We have a Sentinel automatic ink management system on a press where C YK will patrol to put down more ink but only while the press is moving so that ink does not get directly on the rollers.

However, the Sentinel on Magenta will patrol even while the press is off and sometimes will purge a lot of ink, dumping it on the ductor roller if the crew isn't fast enough to start the press or turn the fountain roller to get the purged ink into the tray instead of falling back on the other rollers.

Apparently, one time the power surged and it reset this one ink automator so it doesn't ever realize the press is off. What can I do to get it to stop patrolling and purging ink while the press is off like the others do?

Are the ink keys really high? If so I have seen presses that the ink will just drip out slowly if the ink keys are really open. Have you tried closing the ink keys when you shut down?
