USPS Imposes Holiday Parcel Surcharge

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has filed with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) for a temporary price adjustment for key package products during their 2021 peak holiday season—October 3 through December 26, 2021. This temporary rate adjustment is similar to one in 2020, which typically results in extra handling costs.

Whew! At least the surcharges won't apply to all the packages of presents being returned starting Dec 27. ;-)
 
FedEx is doing the same. They did it last year too but then never stopped the surcharge.
They should call it what it is, a permenant price increase 🙄
