Version 12 outlines issue

Ever since upgrading all my computers to version 12 there is one font (that I found so far) that is not converting to outlines properly. The "middles" fill in and crazy lines appear, so I have to find the original Illustrator file and convert to outlines there. The font is Souvenir. Any ideas of what is going on?
