It depends on you. You can allow ppf file to define ink doctor roller rate or you can define a consist ink doctor roller rate and ppf just play with ink zones opening rate. My suggestion perform a ppf ink coverage calibration for target densities with consist ink doctor roller rate. Then always use same rate. It will help to decrease the job preparation time.

On the other hand ppf software can calculate how many kg ink you need for the job. But you should enter some parameters to software to have appropriate results
