Will volcano kill IPEX?

With air travel over the UK continuing to be cancelled, and ash fall from Iceland's Eyjafjallajokull volcano causing a worry for ground transportation, I wonder how much of an impact this will have on IPEX attendance.

Gordon,
Ground/Sea transport is no problem but a VERY MAJOR one is air transport at the moment. They recon that the volcano still keeps erupting which is bad news for passengers and freight using air transport. IPEX could be affected by all this.

Is there any reason why not to postpone it to a later date?

YES. Planing for the exhibition starts straight after the door close of the previous one. IPEX and DRUPA are the two major exhibitions in the Graphic Arts industry in the world. The exhibition halls are all pre booked for other venues well in advance.

Well, if all air travel is still grounded by then for most of western europe, then I think Ipex is going to be the least of our worries.

PS - can you believe it; HMS Ark Royal, HMS Ocean and HMS Albion are sailing to repatriate Britons stuck overseas!
