Wire Closing Machine Recommendations - Renz ECL360 or similar

Hi Folks,

We're getting two new Ricoh Machines equipped with GBC Ultra punch units with 2:1 wire, 3:1 wire and comb punch dies.

So we need to get a wire closing machine, as we've never done wire binding before (only comb).

One of the machines that looks suitable is the Renz ECL 360 ( link:

)

Does anyone have any experience of this or similar machines? It needs to be simple to operate as there will be multiple admin staff using it.

If you are already getting the GBC StreamPunch Ultra, then just add the StreamWire unit to it.

thanks for this. Streamwire doesn't work for us. Maximum no. of pages is far too low. And we also need to switch dies around and use different binding methods.

Look out for a second hand GBC Magnapunch 1 and die sets. This machine is built like a tank and swapping dies takes seconds. Avoid the Magnapunch 2, that machine was not GBC’s finest moment.
