Wrinkled Envelopes in Ricoh C751 Pro

Hi guys,

Im trying to print big sized envelopes (25.5 X 35.5cm) and they print fine but they're coming out wrinkled (unsaleable). Anyone have any experience with this? Techs are on vacation here and Ricoh's responce time is awful.

Have you tried running them with the flaps open?

Hey, thanks for replying. Yes, tried open and closed flaps. Its a short 300 envelope run.

Have you tried a thicker envelope, say, 28/70 or 32/80? A premium quality may help as well.

Sir, I understand that it is kind of too late for that but you really need the printer that shoots the paper trough without any turns, like OKI 3641. I have ran 13x19 envelopes on that without any issues, closed flap - open flap, no difference.

Don't ever expect to run any kind of envelope consistently well on digital presses. You will get wrinkling and fusing issues. I would recommend exploring a digital envelope press such as Xante or Oki. Any press regardless of the manufacturer won't do very well.

You can try lowering the fuser pressure.
