Xerox 250 booklet maker disappointment

We have a Xerox 250 and (so called) professional finisher i.e. a booklet maker.

We use a smooth uncoated (not bond) paper called mondi color copy as it gives a very high quality image.

We find the booklet maker is always requiring an engineer's visit as it constantly jams.

Anyone else having this problem?

I have to ask Does it have a very smooth finish like that of a very sheet.
Are you using paper that Xerox is saying its good for the machine.
Do you have the same problem with other types of stocks.

We have a DC250 with professional finisher, and have to say the booklet maker is fine. We don't use it a lot, as we finish offline as most of our work has a bleed, but when we do use it the only complaint I have is that the stacker only holds about 10 before it stops and needs emptying. We have very few problems with jamming on the bookletmaker.

This paper was recommended to us, but we have the same problem with 90 & 100 gsm plain bond paper as well Colour Copy paper.
