Hi All,

We are a smaller (graphical) company, which need a replacement for our current Xerox 3535.

I think for us the battle is between: Xerox 7535 ,Canon Ir ADV C5035 , Sharp MX3610N
Personally I prefer Canon or Xerox - I have no experience with Sharp.
We don't need a enterprise printer e.g. Xerox Docucolor 250.

We print yearly ca. 50.000 color prints & ca.20.000 B&W.

Living in Denmark / Europe, the Xerox is most expensive, closely followed by Canon,
Sharp is 30% cheaper than the other ones.

Any recommendations ?

Regards,

Why do you prefer this over the 7535 ?

If you need only to print, no scanning, no copying is a better choice for it lower price than 75xx machine. The prin resolution is the same, the speed is 45 ppm both color or monochrome and the standard configuration trays capacity is 500 sheet. Go to Xerox Website and take a look.

If you want it to do 11x17 and copy/print/scan I think your best bet is the 7535. Its amazing quality at 1200x2400 dpi, it will handle anything you throw at it for a smaller graphic company and it is really easy to setup and wont bog down the network.

Even if you're not doing 11x17, you can print everything 2-up and cut it in half, and in essence splitting the color cost per copy in half for each print.

I have 7535 and is really good machine, what bothers me is (like all printers) two side print. It is impossible to set perfect two side print, or is it?
If so, please let me know, how to do it.

Thx

Do you mean front to back registration? As in, the image on the front page lines up with the image on the back? If so, the 7535 is not a production machine and you would be better off using DocuColor albeit they're much more expensive.

Thx dos, but now I'm stuck 7535 ;). I don't do a big quantity, if so, I go to offset printer.
Just need for some visit cards or some flyer.
