Hello , pls i have a xerox versant 180 and i have a problem with alignment, when i make SIQA Alignment Adjustment, it show me error, and when i want to make "Register Paper Feeding Positions" also error.
Please what can be the problem.

Thank you in advance

It's not stable in the begin is good after 2 or 3 sheet it's skewed or decaled by 2mm sometimes about 3mm
Now i wanna just make alignement adjustment it show error
thank you for your help

What error? You need to provide specific details if you want specific answers. What paper size are you trying to run SIQA with? There are known issues on 13x19 paper with older firmware. Are you using the document scanner, glass, or both? Do the error screens give you any error codes? Did it always did this, or is the problem new?

Paper size is 32.5x46 cm
I’m using glass with black sheet
No error code but there is a msg that the adjustment finish by error
Thank you for your help

At your size, the old firmware issues are the most likely culprit in my experience. What firmware are you on?
Can you try using the document feeder and see if you get the same result? Also - look at the last comment in this thread: https://printplanet.com/threads/v180-siqa-alignment-adjustment.293665/

Make sure you're trying to eliminate the issues that person identified.
Thank you
When i run “Register Paper Feeding Positions”, under maintenance.
It finish by error
Tomorrow i will try another tray with the same paper size and i’ll if it work or not

Strange sheet size. Does the machine align ok with other stocks and sizes?

If so I'd try cutting your original sheet down to sra3 or a3 and try aligning that size and the alignment should be close enough for your original size.

It might be the SIQA needs to make an adjustment more than it's capable of.

I've had it before where the skew went out more than the 2mm it can compensate for.
Ended up needing a tech to come in and manually reset the adjustment so it was back in range of SIQA.

If you manually adjust the settings can you get it set?

There is service manual in pdf format available. In the manual is described a series of adjustments for registration. Also what need to check on copier registration assembly and in others copier assemblies.
