Going to vent a little but help would be greatly appreciated. or at least a real answer.
We have a few Xerox 9201(s) and we are going to enter over 500 fax numbers on a Xerox ColorQube. After being told you can do this via CSV file. NOPE you have to enter them MANUALLY!! WHAT!!!, are the engineers over there on Crack! All the other copiers they have you can upload a csv file and your done. But nooo they think cause the machine is earth friendly that it doesn't need this option. Lets just upset the IT Guy and tell them they cant do that! And make him stand not sit cause if you do sit the screen gets a bad glare from the light. To add salt to the wound it takes 14 steps!!! WHY DOES IT TAKE 14 Steps! Please tell me why! I wonder if they have a email address where you can submit ideas? Or a suggestion box? Cause I have one..
Now keep in mind the rep said you could do this. Yes you can upload all the fax numbers via CSV file.
Why even have a scan/fax option. Ohh I know why cause if we don't add it, then its just a big printer. I mean i get the concept of this machine its great! It not a production machine but almost is. Its supposed to be the future of printing. I feel they took a step back.
I have been researching this for a few days and i cant believe this has never came up? I have contacted Xerox support and they keep telling me that they have to be entered manually? Does anyone have any idea if this is true?
