Xerox Freeflow sold to EFI

I honestly think Windows 10 would be great to migrate to, and highly doubt EFI will develop their own OS for their DFEs being that they currently use Microsoft's Azure services for Fiery Navigator (as in they are more apt to use someone else's system rather than developing their own). With EFI taking advantage of Microsoft's Azure services, I think we could see some really interesting integration of products and services from EFI.

Consolidation like this might mean a more mature product for everyone, and one less choice for those who don't like the mammooth's solutions. Thinking a bit further, Xerox will not have any leverage on EFI, while EFI have the crown jewels in its pockets. In the end, the one engine vendor, which will maintain it's own software environment will be the survivor and the winner. Did anybody notice how much EFI charge for those Tian motherboards and 'furniture'?
