Has anyone had any experience with the NEW Xerox Phaser 7800 color printer, what is the quality like? Is there much paper curl on heavy weight stocks eg. 300gsm stock.

As we are looking at the possibility of purchasing this machine to run short run greeting cards.

Any advice on this machine would be great appreciated.

I bought it to replace my Xante Ilumina. It has better picture quality and is faster, but may not be able to print on stock thicker than 320GSM. I use a lot of Neehah Classic Crest 110, which is about 300gsm and it has no issues with it at all. There is slight paper curl coming out, but nothing like the Xante. I find that if I duplex them, it comes out reasonably flat. I do a manual duplex - I do need to bend them the other direction so it can feed better through the manual feed tray. Also, registration is pretty good, again, much better than he Xante and so far more consistent.

So far, I really love this machine.
