Find the 25 Design Terms

A while back, there was an on-line interactive quiz, where one had to
find the "hidden" graphic arts/design related terms in an illustration.
There are 25 terms to find, mostly nouns. Many are easy/obvious, some
are not. This would make a great introduction to terminology for design
and prepress students.

Sadly, the interactive quiz is no longer freely available to the public.

Looking at the image listed below, I can find 22 of 25 terms. Without
access to the interactive quiz, I can't confirm the last three and it is
really bugging me! I can guess, but I may be wrong.

I am hoping that somebody here can spot all 25 terms!

QUOTE:

"During a project for the American Institute Of Graphic Artists the
creative team, John Neerland and Nina Orezzoli, discovered that many
graphic design terms have an inherent dark side to them. They then
quickly decided that this could become a fun ad, poster and interactive
tool online to test the knowledge of students and young designers across
the world."

A copy of the image used in the original interactive web page can be
viewed here:

Originally the link to the interactive quiz was freely available to the
public, it now requires a log-in:

I originally posted this topic in Education, however it was moved to The Lounge...I hope that has nothing to do with the lack of replies!

OK, to get the ball rolling, starting in the upper left corner:

#1 of 25: Alley

I believe they were:

Bleed
Knockout
Die
Widow
Orphan
Font
Gutter
Alley
Ghost
Slug
Bullet
Dagger
Leaf
Body
Mask
Shadow
Arc
Gothic
Greek
Tombstoning
Rag
Feather
Knot
Gang
Break

Is that all of them?

LoneGoose, thank you for the reply in the other topic thread. I am posting here as I don't wish to make further posts in the incorrect fourm (RE: Print).

As mentioned in the post from the other thread, I think that some of these terms could be regional...

* I did not see ARC. Where is arc located and what does it mean in a graphic arts context?

* As for GOTHIC...would that be for the text above the shop window?

* I am not sure of the term RAG? I was thinking that this may be either sheet or blanket - however the cloth was too small. Can you explain the term rag in a graphic arts context?

* Same goes for KNOT. Can you explain the term knot in a graphic arts context?

Cheers,

Stephen Marsh

LoneGoose, I remember one more that you did not explicitly mention, the Lorem Ipsum Dolor text was one of the 25, so it looks like we have an "extra"!
