It looks RF Drive board problem.

other reasen.
Listen carefully in take up cassette section.
if some small Vibratinon sound (tic~tic~tic~~~~), May be High Voltage Power supply problem.
size W x D x H = appx 50mm x 120mm x 30mm .It's connect to He-Ne Laser Gun.

May be possible. under +5VAC is noproblem.

I mean- small Vibratinon sound (tic~tic~tic~~~~), is High voltage power supply unit problem.

It have to change part.

HeNe laser shines steady light, image creates with AOM (acousto-optical modulator) opening and closing a shooter at laser beam path.
RF driver runs AOM.
So... think then!
