James Burn Docupunch issue

We got a hold of a used JBI Docupunch recently, and are having some trouble with it. The back jogger seems to be working intermittently. Most times its triggered, sometimes not so we have sporadic sheets that aren't punched correctly. Anyone have any ideas what to do about that?

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks,
Cameron

Hello Cameron,

I realize this is an old thread, however I was wondering if you've been able to sort out your issues with your DocuPunch. I operate one as well and have had to struggle-bus my way through several issues recently. If you're still working with the machine I would like to compare notes.

I use one as well. Had to do some small tweaking that last one we bought new but have it working real good now. What problems are you having?

Hello, Sorry for replying to an old thread but I'm having some issues with our Docupunch where weve been tweaking some things but its just struggling to pick up stuff, If you dont mind could you share some of the fixes you had to do?

There is a little hole underneath the beak( hole is on the right side of the metal plate between 2 screws) that adjust the beak. Not 100% sure how it works or functions but adjusting that seems to help me. I will also say the back jogger for the paper absolutely sucks, so I keep my hand behind the stack of paper to help it feed

Thank you, already tried the 2 beak modes but its more of the pulley system that brings it back and forth that is jamming, We dont have access to a technician in South Texas so it's been a struggle lol
