I should know this already, but I've only ever had spotty exposure to our Fierys over the many years.
Things I know:
- We have a Fiery server on our Iridesse and one on our Versant. There will be one on the Ricoh 8420 that's arriving soon.
- Each of these Fierys have a monitor, mouse and keyboard attached
- We control each individual print device's jobs from the attached Fierys via Command Workstation.
- I have CWS on my office PC, and can see all the Fierys in the shop
What I'd like to know:
- How can I tell what, if any, optional features I have on my Fierys? Is there a license manager or similar?
- I've heard that optional feature subscriptions (or outright purchases) such as JobMaster are registered/activated to one computer, and that those features can be used on jobs residing on other Fierys. True?
- Is Fiery Hot Folders a base feature or is it optional?
- Is imposition a base feature or is it optional?
