    Fount trial

We are running 2in one Fount with Maxxima Ink. The ink dries too quick and seems to emulsify, specially the cyan and magenta. Any suggestions or have you experienced same?

    Auto Punch

We installed a PlateRite 4300 with Auto Punching plate register 2 and half years ago and have made 84 000 plates up to date. We are now told that we have to replace both the punches. Does this sound correct?

Is Offset Printing Dying? - A Short Story

In 1974 and 1988 we had this very conversation and both times we all felt like our jobs were on the line. Elliptical vs. Round vs. Square dot shape?

I also asked the question: Why 200 lpi? We just had too much trouble printing with 200 lpi Square dot specially on matching previously printed samples. We did a couple of tests with square, round and eliptical 175 lpi and settled on 175 eliptical. None of our customers even noticed.

We have done various tests to eliminate most obvious areas where lines could be generated. We have developed the plate vertically and horizontally, but the lines remain...

At closer inspection it...
