    GRAPHTEC FC 9000 Marks Trouble

Sure. So, I'm fairly new to running this type of equipment and there was very little training on the hardware side and zero training on the software side. But, I figured things out, so I thought. I was able to successfully send cut files and get good results. But my method, it turns out, was not...

    GRAPHTEC FC 9000 Marks Trouble

Tried that amongst many other things which were not the issue. Fortunately, it has been resolved and had nothing to do with hardware. Appreciate the reply, nonetheless.

    GRAPHTEC FC 9000 Marks Trouble

Thanks for this. I always make sure to load the media as evenly as possible. Definitely did not scale the art at all. Everything is being run as I normally would. Printing on generic SAV and marks are clearly visible. Even if I've had mark scan issues before, I've always been able to resolve...

    GRAPHTEC FC 9000 Marks Trouble

I wasn't sure where to post this but since I'm printing on a wide format printer and attempting to cut stickers on our Graphtec, I figured this might be the best place. We've had our Graphtec FC 9000 for a few months and haven't had too many issues so far. We've been able to run cut vinyl for...

Mutoh hybrid printer VS Mimaki flatbed

We are definitely not doing that much work. It is quite possible that it would actually sit for days at a time.

Thanks for the response. I will check out sings101. What are some of the issues you've had with Mutoh?

Mutoh hybrid printer VS Mimaki flatbed

My shop is currently in the market for a flatbed printer and we are looking at the Mimaki JFX600-2513 and the Mutoh 1638UH Mark II. We currently have an HP Latex 365 as our main (and only wide format printer). Most of our work is A-Frame signage and with our current work flow, it's a lot of hand...

Print outputting a few inches short HP Latex 365 SAi RIP

Sorry, not sure I understand. I only turned OMAS off after reading your reply. I then ran a test print with OMAS off and it was still short. Are you saying I have to adjust the advancement in the media preset in addition to turning OMAS off?

Print outputting a few inches short HP Latex 365 SAi RIP

Interesting. I tried turning OMAS off for the media I'm using to see if that would help. It actually gave me a better print but it was still short.

Print outputting a few inches short HP Latex 365 SAi RIP

I run a HP Latex 365 with SAi RIP. Our shop bought it brand new about a year ago and everything's been running great with the exception of a couple of minor hiccups here and there. We mostly run SAV for signage, etc. This week, I had to run two 27" x 69" panels on window perf. The files looked...

Hi Dan. Just sent an email. Thanks!

Looking to get rid of old equipment but can't find where/how

The shop I work in currently is looking to get rid of some old printing equipment. Unfortunately, we haven't had any luck finding a resource, other than typical "e-waste" disposal or similar places, but I'm not sure they'll take our stuff. We're in the Los Angeles (Southern California) area, by...

Looking for recommendations on Large Format printer

You're right about the start up and shut down time...at least in my experience with an HP Latex R2000, that's definitely the case.

Looking for recommendations on Large Format printer

Thanks for your input. I have a couple of Epsons on my list but I think I'm leaning towards HP Latex printers at this point.

Looking for recommendations on Large Format printer

Hello! We've recently run into some seemingly unsolvable problems with our wide format Mimaki printer at our shop. Because of that, we're looking into the possibility of buying a new printer altogether. We are open to most brands as long as it's a 54" machine, preferably Eco Solvent/Latex. I've...
