Die cutting tolerance between shapes

I am having some small 60mm high small people cut for a card theatre, outside of the figures I have 1mm cut line so in some places I have 2mm between the figures where the cut lines join. Is 1mm tolerance Ok for the die cutting process?

Thanks in advance

Sam

We usually allow a minimum of 5mm between cutting rules, but best to ask your die cutting contractor or the die maker as they will have their own tolerances.

Super thanks, will check in with the printer, wanted to check generally in case I switch printers and find the artwork I have made are not acceptable to another printer !
