Konica 951 vs 6120 vs OTHERLINES

951 upper fuser failed, just ran 30M clicks all black on the C6501 of course had to be 8.5x11 and stapled. I try not to run NCR on the color machines unless its a color job. 951 runs NCR fine we do get some buildup but nothing crazy. I think the 1250/6136 are better engines, and better cooling...

Konica 951 vs 6120 vs OTHERLINES

what if you had no click costs? we self maintain. Just thinking I can upgrade/add a C6100 full boat and run my B&W on that machine, get rid of the B&W only engines. Move my C2070 to the front where i still run a older C6501 and C7000. Consolidate.

Konica 951 vs 6120 vs OTHERLINES

We still run alot of NCR on a B&W Konica 951. I Like it but we are missing some key features, Does have true air feed in the paper deck, doesn't have a real RIP, doesn't print up to the quality of some of my local competition. I am guessing but what i am seeing being printed is what comes off...

    Inkjet Envelope Press

i am sure the machine is more $$$. I guess the HP engine is newer, but Printware was always a middle man, everything costs more. I would compare ink costs, and consumable costs. If ink is 3 times as much as the Kirk Rudy, doesn't take long to cost more....

    Inkjet Envelope Press

better software with the Firejet, the ijet is nice but the company is the middle man - you will always pay for ink and supplies.

    Ink Jet Envelope Printer

Explain which software... Picked up a used ijetcolor (mach5) and after $500 in parts runs great. Found ink cheap (OEM). BUT I know I cant do any heavy envelopes or 10x13s - so we keep a Xante around. Would love to find who makes this setup for envelopes with an AIR/Suction feed, that would be...

Need a Machine for Small Volume Envelope Printing

bleeding off the edge never works great. also then you have to trick the paper size to be larger and the way it feeds from the envelope feeder its a head ache. Pre flapping is ok, but you have more then one thicknesses so may need some embossing from the fuser. Would not spend on the fiery, its...

Need a Machine for Small Volume Envelope Printing

I have used a bunch of these machines, if you know all the tricks you can get close to 1 cents per click on #10s. On the C941 we have the straight shooter - which i don't love its better then the original, but best feeder is the This style (IMO) if you want to go with the older machines... XANTE...

Need a Machine for Small Volume Envelope Printing

like the older fiery's for the older engine (C9800, C930), we find we don't need the new fiery on the C941/C942 - We also run mostly short run... under 5000 pieces, but the new engine can handle larger runs...
