    Versant 180 Envelope Color Nightmare

I apologize if I missed it but did you replace the 2ndBTR? Or did you have this problem right after the 2ndBTR was replaced in the past?

    Versant 180 Envelope Color Nightmare

It takes more static to pull the toner down from the belt in that area where the flap is. Increase the transfer voltage.

    Upgrading from the Xerox V180.

This Versant drum issue started in early 2020 or 2019. By the end of the 2nd quarter of 2020 I could not see how they could continue to operate this way and not fix the problem with the drums. Other image quality and maintenance issues made me start looking at other options. I was not impressed...

    Pricing Brochures and Business Cards...

Does your software allow for different printers with different settings which might allow you to price some items on one printer (settings) or the other would not affect all items.

    Envelops with Iridesse?

That is a good question as I see the same thing. Not sure if different brands of envelopes make any difference. For what it is worth it is probably the fuser causing this. It hasn't been that bad or I would have tried different fuser settings, but that might be worth a look.

    V180 EX-I - V280P Upgrade thoughts

I thought your problem was with transparencies not sure what you mean by flattening the whole PDF. Vector elements where they are not involved with transparencies I should stay as vectors.

Konica Minolta C6100 w Fiery RIP : Pale coloured Stripes through print, rendering issue?

Looks like a RIP setting issue. Do you have the RIP package with Imageviewer? If so you should be able to see it. Most likely an overprint issue. Try with and without APPE and the Composite Overprint setting. Also check file in Acrobat with Output Preview, Simulate Overprint checked and...

    Envelops with Iridesse?

Oversize hi-cap trays or the ones underneath? You are using the extra parts in the tray to assist in feeding envelopes?

Adobe to remove Pantone books from Creative Cloud

The big question is, will Adobe still allow color libraries ASE file containing Pantone definitions to still be installed? I would think they would but do we have an official statement from Adobe? As most all RIPs would need to continue to support Pantone Spot Colors and most RIPs allow you to...

Pantone Color Libraries will be removed from future Adobe updates

One interesting thing is that most RIPs can export the color libraries that they have or that you create or alter as ASE files. Big question will Adobe allow you to import them in the future.

    Ricoh 7210x white spots...

Seems pretty normal to me for anything being transferred with electro-static. Things change be it paper, humidity, the condition of parts etc. all affecting the ability to transfer toner either to the belt (1stBTRs) or to the paper ( 2nBTR). That is why that adjustment is available.

SYNAPS Synthetic Paper—Protection Against Bacteria & Viruses

It is great they support a truly green world. Recycled carbon is plant food. And since there is a seemingly endless supply of carbon energy under our feet why not. Nice to see someone not cowering down to the elite hoaxers and their genocidal maniacs.

    Xerox versant 3100

You will love the Iridesse. Night and day difference. We did the same thing in January of this year. The drum issues were starting to crop up last year but it sounds like it has only gotten worse. Only downside with the Iridesse is you don't have to replace drums or other parts very often and...
