Hi everyone, I'm looking to print label sheets on a KM 12000 printer that I can digital die cut with a graphtec cutter CE8000 15" with feeder that i just purchased. I currently buy the diverslabel from kelly that are lined in the back for easy peel and i'm looking for non lined label sheets. Any...

    Canon raised click prices +450%

I’m moving away from my 3rd party service company for my Konica 12000 and going direct to Konica. Can’t deal with lying, delays and poor performance from the 3rd party. I was carrying most of the weight on my shoulders instead of a service company always being there to help alleviate that...

    Canon raised click prices +450%

Funny thing was I called them less this last year than any other year in the past. Canon was such a terrible experience from start to finish. Sleazy sales, over promises under delivered on the product. I was also a bit confused because it was my first larger machine and didn’t know much about...

    Canon raised click prices +450%

Has this happened to anyone? My story is that my Canon 710 (about 6 years old now) color machine lease ended a year ago and I purchased it for “FMV” With an agreement that canon will continue to service it for me under contract. They raised my click prices a little over 10%. I agreed. This...

Scoring and Folding for Digital Tri-fold Brochures

I use the Morgana digi fold pro XL. It’s a beast and it just keeps running. I want to say it’s rated for 80lb and/or 20lb paper but it sucks. However once you get into 28lb paper ir paperweight a bit higher and all the way up to 16pt, it has no issues. Comes with a hefty price tag but we do...

    Aqueous Printers for Stickers?

What’s the benefit of aqueous? I was always confused about the eco solvent, latex, aqueous printing options. Is there a simple explanation of each?

I see a lot of plockmatics on eBay that are for sale, anyone have pushback on why to buy new vs a low mileage used machine? I feel like these things are tanks.

I understand. What offline are you running now? It slits and face trims as well?

Oh got it. Which engine were you running? The slitter jams up often and needs clearing but when it’s clear, it’s fine. Never had issues with the face trim. I wonder if the plocks have similar slitter issues.

You can go 2 up books because it’ll staple 4 times but you’ll have to trim them up in the center yourself. Otherwise, on short run books the margins are so higher that it’s worth just running them. For example on a half page booklet 8.5x5.5, I’ll cut a 13x19 sheet in half to 9.5x13 and run those...

    offline booklet maker

I keep wanting an offline solution to booklet making but I’ve made due with the SD-513 inline on my Konica 12000 until now. It’s definitely not fast nor is it super reliable but it’s been getting the job done. The slitter has constant jams where it collects paper in its wheels so it needs to be...

    Bulk Mail Strapping Machine

That Duplo-240 seems like the same china style machine I saw elsewhere once. I can’t find it anywhere. If anyone does link it here please.

Creep, how do you calculate it?

I’ve never used the creep option on any of the books I’ve printed. Mainly because I don’t know what it does exactly. When you add creep, does it squeeze the pages closer to the center? Is it done trough the fiery? Sorry for the lack of knowledge

    AeroCut NanoMax

When you look at price difference, yes I was not aware it was that much cheaper. I thought it was the full sized one you were referring to. For example when I purchased the the Duplo 618 I had no idea what other items I was going to cut other then business cards, postcards, brochures and...
