Im not an expert on Odystar, but if you migrate to Automation Engine, both xml and jdf is possible. xml is very easy to implement and will give you plenty of possibility's to control your workflows the way you explained. wkr Simon (working for esko)

I don't know what file format you use now when you export from AP. But soon, very soon Esko will have a new plugin for AI that imports Normalized PDF's in a very nice way.

Under general in Smartmark you can add the smartmark "position mark" to define the position. On top of that mark you add your microdots.

well... this is quite complicated.. To calibrate the proofer you need your result from a test print or your DGC curve so they can match your printing press. Then there is another thing.. What is your reference curve? A normal offset reference curve you aim 50% to be 68%.. I'm working for...
