Sometimes when I am in preps there are instances where I cannot use the keyboard. Like I am trying to type in .25 for gutters it won't let me. So I'll freakin' bang my keyboard and still nothing. And then I try to save my work and hit apple S and it doesn't even do that. What is the deal? this...

I had this problem too. I connect to it via a CIFS connection which solved that problem rather quickly.

hmmmm.... I don't think I will ever leave Apogee. Its just IMO way better than Rampage.

We have been having problems with the black plate only on screens.. What's printed ends up having lines show up on it. Makes no sense. oh well. good thing we have a production manager who says screw it and approves it!!

Re: LP 82 Ultra Processor Stink do what I do... Do a full maintenance every other monday. I have smelled a burning smell like the smell of burning hair.. I just think its from the heater. I leave our processor on 24/7 and only turn it to inactive mode on very long weekens.

Re: Apogee not taking distilled pdfs... the parameter set in my normalizer under the compatabilty is set for Acro 5 (pdf 1.4) and under the hotfolder mine is just like yours..

So here is my problem.. Apogee won't take clients pdfs that are made from: Acrobat 4 = 1.3 Acrobat 5 = 1.4 I drop them in Hotdrop and they never show up. But it will take them from Acrobat 6 = 1.5 Acrobat 7 = 1.6 Acrobat 8 = 1.7 (Pure PS level 3) and the only way I can get around that is to...

I am currently using client version 1.33.20 of ApogeeX AND Preps version 4.2.3 build 530. How do I know when to upgrade my preps to a newer version? Would I have to holler at Afga for the answer?
